The NBNA (Newton Booth Neighborhoods Association) encompasses three areas: Poverty Ridge, Newton Booth and Alhambra Triangle neighborhoods from 19th Street (West) to US 50 (South) to 34th Street (East) and to R Street (North). Our mission is to protect and preserve the quality of life in these three neighborhoods. We serve as a liaison with City of Sacramento and other local governments advocating for policies and actions that benefit the neighborhoods. We provide communication to residents and business owners regarding issues such as proposed developments, traffic and parking, health and safety, and we assist with neighborhood events, activities and projects that create ‘neighborhood.’
We hold open Board meetings each month encouraging residents to participate and provide perspective and insight to making our neighborhoods safe, clean, respectful, and inclusive.
Annual dues are $20/calendar year for a household and/or business. Annual elections to Board positions are held each year in the month of December. Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 6-7:45pm, and a[AW1] [GU2] re currently held in-person at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1820 28th Street.
